Crusoe

Crusoe is a vertically-integrated AI infrastructure platform creating climate-aligned computing solutions.

Designs, builds, and operates climate-aligned computing solutions for high-performance and AI workloads

With its roots in the development of edge data centers using flared natural gas for bitcoin mining, Crusoe’s vertically integrated platform leverages wasted, stranded, and clean energy sources to power both cost-effective and environmentally responsible computing.

The rapid adoption of AI and continued growth of cloud computing is placing immense, unprecedented stress on the electric grid -increasing costs, accelerating instability and pushing interconnection queues out by several years. Data center power consumption is projected to increase 160% by 2030, and it is expected that 47GW of new generation will be required to support data center growth in the US alone.

Access to power is quickly becoming the bottleneck for AI. Crusoe’s journey—which began deploying modular data centers powered by flared natural gas—quickly put them at the center of AI compute and energy demand. Today, Crusoe is leveraging its power and data center expertise to develop a 12GW+ pipeline of stranded or underutilized energy assets, enabling new, state-of-the-art data centers for the world’s leading technology companies.
