Infravision

Infravision designs and manufactures aerial robotics systems that are redefining how utilities build and maintain transmission and distribution (T&D) infrastructure.

Helping shift the T&D industry toward automation, precision, and climate-aligned methods that reduce operational risks and environmental footprint.

Founded in 2017, Infravision designs and manufactures aerial robotics systems that are redefining how utilities build and maintain transmission and distribution (T&D) infrastructure. Its flagship product, the TX System, combines a powerful ground-based winch and heavy-lift drone platform to streamline the installation and replacement of transmission conductor lines, a process that has historically been labor-intensive, dangerous, or dependent on expensive helicopter operations. Infravision also offers a lighter-weight version of the platform via its Drone Utility Vehicles (DUVs) to service the millions of miles of existing distribution infrastructure including critical emergency response capabilities. These products provide agile, reliable support in disaster recovery scenarios, reducing downtime and enhancing grid resilience.

Infravision’s technology is helping shift the industry toward automation, precision, and climate-aligned methods that reduce operational risks and environmental footprint. The company’s robotics-enabled model is already deployed by Tier-1 utilities globally, with long-term contracts in India and Australia with a growing list of US utility customers, demonstrating the value of its technology at scale. As mature power grids undergo modernization and emerging economies build new infrastructure, Infravision offers an efficient, safe, and low-emission alternative to traditional methods.
