Altana has built a first-of-its-kind platform—the Altana Atlas, the only intelligent, dynamic global supply chain map.

Big data and AI platform for high-resolution global supply chain visibility

Altana AI is a big data, artificial intelligence platform that unlocks high-resolution visibility of supply-chains for participants in global trade. Altana’s proprietary “Atlas” platform leverages a massive central repository of unique data assets and a bleeding-edge, federated machine learning architecture to fuse proprietary and highly confidential customer data sets with Atlas while maintaining strict integrity and sovereignty over individual customers’ data. Effectively unlocking “private data at scale,” Altana is building a high-resolution, multi-relational and searchable map of physical global supply chains; and of the complex networks of suppliers, purchasers, transportation providers, locations, assets, events, regulatory entities and financial relationships that connect them.

The past 40 years have witnessed rapid globalization that optimized for growth and low-cost goods, resulting in supply networks with complex interdependencies that are opaque, fragile and full of risk. Altana is building a first-of-its-kind platform that provides enterprises, logistics providers and governments with a trusted, shared and connected source of truth for global supply chains and affiliated risks. With this shared and searchable source of truth, companies can now understand where their products come from, how disruptions deep in their networks may impact their businesses, and the environmental and labor impacts of their value chains.
